Trade program

At Studio Castel, we invite a select group of professionals to explore the nuances of block-print through our curated trade and designer program. This initiative is designed for those who seek to integrate the tactile and visual language of handcrafted materials into their projects. By aligning with our values of precision and intentionality, participants gain access to a collection that reflects the quiet rigor of the block-print tradition.

Eligibility

The program is open to designers, architects, and contractors who prioritize material integrity and craftsmanship in their work. Eligibility is determined through a review of professional portfolios, project histories, and a demonstrated commitment to the principles of block-print. Selected participants receive priority access to our catalog and exclusive support for sourcing and application.

Sample Requests

Participants may request memo samples to evaluate textures, color palettes, and finishes. These samples are dispatched via standard shipping and are available in limited quantities. Requests must be submitted through the Studio Castel portal, specifying project context and intended use. Samples are non-refundable and subject to availability.

Lead Times

Production timelines vary based on complexity and volume. Standard orders typically require 4–6 weeks for fulfillment, while custom requests may extend to 8–10 weeks. Lead times are communicated during the initial order review, and adjustments can be made to accommodate urgent deadlines upon discussion with our team.

Payment Terms

All trade and designer orders are processed under NET-30 terms, requiring full payment within 30 days of invoice issuance. Invoices are generated upon order confirmation and include detailed specifications, quantities, and shipping costs. Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge, as outlined in the terms of engagement.

Custom Options

Custom-print availability is contingent on collaboration with our atelier. Proposals must include a detailed description of the desired motif, scale, and application. A minimum order quantity of 100 linear feet is required for custom requests, with a 30% deposit due upon approval. Custom designs are produced using the same hand-blocked techniques as our standard collection.

Studio Castel and Designer Wallcoverings

Studio Castel operates as an extension of Designer Wallcoverings, an independent storefront established in 1996 that has remained dedicated to the singular focus of block-print. Our parent organization curates every element of the collection, ensuring alignment with the material’s inherent qualities. This legacy of curation informs our approach to selection, production, and support for trade professionals.
