Scene-by-scene shot list with embedded narration + who-does-what roles (Steve: OAuth
consent + account-Private toggle + button clicks; me: cue/narrate/record/trim/split).
Encodes the unaudited-app trap (account must be Private during the post) and the ≤50MB
split. Readiness verified 2026-07-27. Live capture is a ~10-min guided pass.

# TikTok App-Review Demo Video — Capture Runbook (turnkey)

**Ticket:** TK-00128 · **App:** DW Marketing `7662772350357866516` · **Record against SANDBOX** (`sbaw22ejwjsfwqetsy`)
**Target:** mp4/mov, **≤50 MB/file** (split by scene if needed, ≤5 files), ~2–3 min, narrated.
**Surface:** `https://marketing.designerwallcoverings.com` → Channels page (keep the address bar visible the whole time — the reviewer checks the domain matches the app's Web URL).

## Readiness (verified 2026-07-27) ✅
MCC up (401-gated, log in first) · sandbox key present · ToS/Privacy 200 · icon 1024² · apex domain-TXT live.

## Roles
- **You (Steve):** log into the MCC; do the TikTok OAuth consent + authorize; toggle the account Private/Public; click the Direct-Post/Upload buttons. *(These need a real human TikTok session — a bot can't and shouldn't.)*
- **Me:** cue each scene + read the narration line; run the screen/audio capture; after, trim/split to ≤50 MB, confirm the domain + all 3 scopes are visibly shown, export the mp4(s).

## ⚠️ The unaudited-app trap (do this or the post fails)
Before Scene 3, in the TikTok app toggle **@designerwallcoverings → Private = ON**. `SELF_ONLY` on the post alone is NOT enough for an unaudited app — the *account* must be Private during the post. Toggle it **back to Public after** recording. (Approval removes this step.)

## Recorder
- **QuickTime → File → New Screen Recording** (simplest; captures the live OAuth), or the `screenrecord` skill for the deterministic MCC parts. Record the whole flow in one pass; we split after.
- Chrome window only, address bar visible, slow deliberate mouse.

## Scene-by-scene (on-screen action · narration to read)

**S1 · Context (0:00–0:15)** — Show MCC dashboard, address bar `marketing.designerwallcoverings.com`, navigate to **Channels** (TikTok card disconnected).
> "This is the Designer Wallcoverings Marketing Command Center, at marketing.designerwallcoverings.com. We use it to post our own brand videos to our own TikTok account. Here's the Channels page."

**S2 · Login Kit / `user.info.basic` (0:15–0:50)** — Click **Connect TikTok** → pause on the TikTok consent screen (app name "DW Marketing" + the 3 scopes visible) → **Authorize** → back on Channels, TikTok now **Connected** with avatar + display name.
> "We connect our own TikTok account through Login Kit. It asks consent for the three scopes. After authorizing, the dashboard shows our connected account — that's user.info.basic, which we use only to confirm which account is linked."

**S3 · `video.publish` Direct Post (0:50–1:50)** — *(account is Private now)* Select a DW product/room video → **Post to TikTok → Direct Post** → confirm → show the returned **`publish_id`** on screen → cut to the TikTok profile showing the new (private) video.
> "We select one of our own product videos and publish it directly to our account via the Content Posting API. The API returns a publish_id, and the video appears on our @designerwallcoverings profile. That's video.publish."

**S4 · `video.upload` draft (1:50–2:20)** — Repeat with **Upload as draft** → show it land in the TikTok **inbox as an editable draft**.
> "As a fallback we can upload a video as a draft to our own inbox to finish the caption and post manually. That's video.upload."

**S5 · Close (2:20–2:30)** — Back on Channels showing **Connected + recent post**.
> "Everything posts to our own single brand account — no third-party or user-generated content."

## After recording (my part)
1. Trim dead air; split into ≤50 MB mp4(s) by scene if the single file is over.
2. Sanity-check: address bar shows `marketing.designerwallcoverings.com` throughout; S2 shows the consent scopes; S3 shows a real `publish_id`; S4 shows the inbox draft.
3. Hand you the file(s) → attach in the portal.
4. **Toggle the account back to Public** (your reminder).

## Then submit (your click-path — paste-ready values in the MCC package §1/§2/§4)
`~/Projects/marketing-command-center/docs/submissions/tiktok-app-review.md` → Production tab → fill fields → paste scope text → attach video → **Submit for review**.

---
**Narration audio:** script above is embedded for live read/dub. macOS `say` can't write audio from this headless shell; generate the VO during the live session (audio context present) or via ElevenLabs if you want a polished track — say the word.
