+## The 1,944 still-missing = the discontinued tail
+Absent from BOTH the authoritative table AND the current Jan-2026 price list. Their SKUs
+(`4266`, `8024108`, `8024110`…) are old patterns not in Kravet's current catalog — the
+signature of discontinuation. They should be **currency-checked then archived**, NOT costed.

+## Currency check (the "is it current" half) — BLOCKED on AKEY
+`scripts/kravet-cost/currency-check.js` + `run-parallel.sh` are built and reuse the proven
+exact-SKU Kravet Algolia verifier. They fan all 14 brands concurrently and classify every
+active mfr_sku CURRENT / DISCO_COLOR / DISCO_PATTERN. **Cannot run until the Algolia `AKEY`
+is provided** (empty in env). Once it lands: `AKEY=<key> bash scripts/kravet-cost/run-parallel.sh`.

+## Remaining steps
+1. **AKEY** → fire parallel currency-check → confirms the 1,944 disco → archive list (gated).
+2. **Push MAP prices to Shopify** for the 6,340 resolved — GATED, Steve's go (cost→MAP→price
+   is customer-facing + MAP-compliance).
+3. Then repeat the pattern for the next vendor tier (top-volume).
