# GATED — Majilite Metallic Specialties I go-live (TK-10403)

**Status:** 160 SKUs onboarded + staged (dw_unified.majilite_catalog) + live viewer. The steps below
are customer-facing / registry / pricing and need Steve's go. Nothing below has been executed.

## 1. Pricing — onboarded as $4.25 SAMPLES now; yard retail later (NOT a blocker)
Per Steve (2026-08-10) all 160 are onboarded as **sellable $4.25 samples** (`onboard_status=sample`,
`display_prices=true`). By-the-yard retail is deferred:
- **Later:** ask Kathryn Gabriel — kathryn@twogabriels.com — for the Metallic Specialties I cost list, then
  price at DW retail (cost / 0.65 / 0.85, by yard) and add the yard variant. Orders/lead-time: Dara Pinn —
  dpinn@majilite.com. Confirm the Majilite trade discount before pricing (price-finder rule).

## 2. vendor_registry INSERT (Mac2-canonical) — `migrations/002_vendor_registry.DRAFT.sql`
Registers vendor **Majilite** (code `MAJ`, prefix `DWMJ-`, table `majilite_catalog`, by-yard, quote-only).
- Expected: dw-machine-drift-canary will flag a Mac2-only vendor code until dw-registry-sync pushes it to
  Kamatera — benign, that's the sanctioned direction.
- Reversible: `DELETE FROM vendor_registry WHERE vendor_code='MAJ';`

## 3. Shopify publish (customer-facing) — after pricing
Build 160 products on the live store (designer-laboratory-sandbox): title = `Pattern Colorway` (original
names kept public), vendor Majilite, DWMJ SKUs, sample variant ($4.25) + by-the-yard variant, spec
metafields from the shared Nytek block, local swatch images, tags. Then Google/Merchant + collection.
- Honor the 5-field + go-live-gate rules (real vendor + mfr identifier, image, ≥2 tags, description, pricing).

## Notes
- Names kept **original** (not private-label) per Steve, 2026-08-10.
- Card I = 160 SKUs. Card **II** (per the spec page, 320 combined) is a likely follow-up onboard — same
  pipeline, next DWMJ block (`DWMJ-000161+`), same spec.
