As a division of Designer Wallcoverings, a name synonymous with precision and legacy since 1996, we exist to elevate the standards of metallic finishes through meticulous curation, bespoke service, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. This is not a catalog—it is an invitation to those who demand more from the materials they choose to shape spaces.</p>
<h2>Who Qualifies for the Trade/Designer Program</h2>
<p>Our program is reserved for professionals whose work reflects a discerning eye and a deep understanding of materiality. This includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Registered interior designers with a minimum of five years’ experience in residential or commercial projects.</li>
<li>Licensed architects specializing in luxury, hospitality, or institutional design.</li>
<li>Contractors and finishers with a proven track record in high-end installations and detailing.</li>
</ul>
<p>Eligibility is determined through a vetting process that values craftsmanship, reputation, and a demonstrated commitment to quality. We do not extend access to those who operate in volume-driven markets or prioritize cost over integrity.</p>
<h2>Memo Samples: A Glimpse Before Commitment</h2>
<p>Our memo samples are designed to be a tactile, visual, and sensory experience. Each sample is cut from the same batch as the final product, ensuring accuracy in color, sheen, and texture. These are dispatched via express courier, accompanied by a detailed specification sheet that includes light reflectance values, material composition, and application notes. Memo samples are non-refundable but may be returned for credit toward a future order.</p>
<h2>Lead Times and Production Schedules</h2>
<p>Standard metallic finishes are available with a lead time of 4–6 weeks from order confirmation. Custom-print finishes, which require specialized printing techniques and hand-rolled applications, may take 8–12 weeks, depending on complexity. All timelines are subject to confirmation during the initial consultation, and we reserve the right to adjust schedules in the event of material shortages or unforeseen production delays.</p>
<h2>NET-30 Terms and Financial Arrangements</h2>
<p>Eligible clients are extended NET-30 terms upon approval, subject to a minimum order value of $5,000. Invoices are issued upon delivery, with payment due within 30 days of receipt. No deposits are required for standard orders, though custom-print finishes may require a 50% deposit to secure production. Late fees are applied at a rate of 1.5% per month, and accounts in arrears may be suspended without notice.</p>
<h2>Custom-Print Availability and Process</h2>
<p>Atelier Aurum offers limited custom-print finishes for clients with specific design needs. These must be submitted as high-resolution digital files (300 dpi minimum) and approved through our in-house review process. Custom-print finishes are available only on select base materials and are subject to a minimum order quantity of 100 linear feet. Turnaround for custom-print orders begins after approval and is contingent on the availability of the requested material.</p>
