Trade program

for those who work with materials, not just materials. phoebe is a curated atelier dedicated entirely to natural fibers. we do one thing—and we do it carefully.

who qualifies

the program is open to designers, architects, and contractors who work with materials that demand attention. this includes professionals engaged in residential, commercial, or institutional projects where the material’s integrity is non-negotiable. applicants must demonstrate a commitment to working with natural fibers, whether through prior projects, ongoing collaborations, or a clear vision for their current work.

designers with a focus on material-driven interiors

architects specifying wallcoverings for new builds or renovations

contractors with a history of using natural fibers in installations

memo samples

memo samples are small, tactile swatches sent to qualified professionals to evaluate the material’s character. they are available upon request and can be requested via email or through the studio’s direct contact. samples are dispatched within five business days and include a brief note on the fiber’s origin, care instructions, and application notes. they are not returned, as they are intended for immediate use in decision-making.

lead times

standard products are available within four to six weeks from the date of order. custom-print options and bespoke weaves require additional time, typically eight to twelve weeks. lead times are confirmed during the initial inquiry and are subject to material availability. delays are rare but may occur during periods of high demand.

terms

qualified participants are offered net-30 terms for orders over $500, provided invoices are submitted within the agreed timeframe. payments must be received within thirty days of delivery. exceptions are made for custom work, which may require a deposit upfront and staged payments upon completion of key milestones.

custom-print availability

custom-print options are available for select natural fiber weaves, subject to approval by the studio’s curatorial team. prints are limited to monochromatic or low-contrast palettes to preserve the material’s inherent qualities. proposals must include a detailed description of the intended use, scale, and color references. custom-print lead times are longer than standard products and are confirmed during the initial consultation.

relationship with designer wallcoverings

phoebe operates as a specialized division within designer wallcoverings, a family-owned entity established in 1996. the parent company has supplied the design trade for over twenty years, focusing on depth
