# TK-10873 follow-ups — decisions (2026-08-31)

Steve asked for 3 things after the 277 shipped. Each is resolved below. The DTD/Cody/verify
discipline held: an adversarial pass + a $0 web-verification pass changed what ships.

## 1. Promote the 45 harvested proposals → 41 SHIP, 3 HOLD, 1 DROP
- **Built** `zoffany_optionA_promotions_v4.json` (REPRICE-shaped; driven by the SAME proven
  restore-map-first runbook via `REPRICE_DRAFT=`).
- **Cody red-teamed the prices** (not the machinery): found the harvested competitor-scrapes were
  single-source with no list-vs-sale distinction. **Two web-researcher agents ($0) then confirmed
  each pattern's current US LIST price.**
- **SHIP (42, after the DTD refine below):** 40 harvested colorways web-confirmed at current US list
  (Montacute $530, Royal Exchange $504, Columns/Medallion/Sicilian Lion $494, Richmond Park $416,
  French Marble $382, Ajanta/Ormonde/Wallis/Kauri/Ormonde Key/Ormonde Stripe/Piastrella/Tallulah $342)
  **+ 2 ZFOW** ($309.50 = cost/0.65/0.85, verification-grade). Sibling-inferred rows independently
  re-confirmed; Cody's "$494 maybe-sale" alarm reconciled ($494 IS DecoratorsBest's MAP list).
- **DTD refine (7B/1A + Cody):** all 3 below-list rows are ZDAR (Darnley collection). Cody caught that
  B laundered Ebru II's corroboration onto Mitford. Applied one consistent standard:
  - **Ebru II ZDAR312865 → SHIP** at the web-VERIFIED $342 (direct product-page pin; a marbling print).
    Folded into v4 (now 42). NOTE: its scraped us_retail was the stale $230 — a verified-price override
    ships it at $342, never the wrong scrape.
  - **HOLD (2): Darnley ZDAR312884 ($416–460, colorway unpinned) + Mitford Damask ZDAR312864
    ($342–449 damask, one unreliable low source)** — held TOGETHER as one Darnley-collection
    per-colorway price-confirm follow-up (not an orphan; both need the same confirm workflow).
- **DROP (1):** Domino Paper ZEND313098 — double-roll unit + EUR-facing source, math didn't close
  ($264/2 = $132 < its own $148 wholesale). Never ship.

## 2. ZAQF322696 "Desert Flower II" — RESOLVED 2026-08-31
- Live mirror already has `product_type = Fabric` (correctly EXCLUDED from the 277 roll reprice) → the
  "misfiled as wallpaper roll" concern is fully resolved. Verified live: sellable DWZF-187045 "Default Title"
  @ $132/yd (inventoryPolicy=CONTINUE, correct for made-to-order fabric) + $4.25 sample intact. NOT sample-only,
  NOT a roll price. Structure is correct.
- **BUT underpriced:** $132 is the UK £132 shown as USD (fabric never got the GBP-as-USD fix). Real US list =
  **$370/yd** (verified at DecoratorsBest + LA Design Concepts, 2 independent sources). → **Gated reprice card
  drafted** ($132→$370, +180%): `RUN_LIVE_fabric_ZAQF322696.md`. Scope bounded — only 1 Zoffany fabric exists.

## 3. Murals + the 3 HELD_NEEDS_PRICE
- **Murals → HOLD from roll reprice (unit decision = per-metre, NOT standard roll):** Precarious
  Pangolins (per-yard $444), Verdure ZAMW310430/431 (per-metre), Phaedra (per-metre-mural), Pompadour
  Print (per-metre-grasscloth). Roll-repricing a per-metre product IS the unit-mislabel bug (cf. the
  Fabricut canary). These need per-metre variant modeling + a targeted price before any reprice.
- **Highclere ZDAR312861** — a real 11yd-roll, just no US price found. HOLD for a targeted harvest, then
  reprice normally (not a mural).
- **The 3 HELD_NEEDS_PRICE:**
  - **ZFOW312941 / ZFOW312943 → RESOLVED**, now in the ship set at $309.50 (our_price = cost/0.65/0.85).
  - **313114 (DWWC-502880) → RESOLVED from data 2026-08-31 (no DM needed).** Zoffany's product image filename
    carries BOTH codes (`ZIND313114_1_ZOW0146_01_..._Papaver_Stripe_...jpg`) → the mapping 313114 ≡ ZOW0146-01
    is CONFIRMED (Zoffany's own cross-reference, not a filename guess). The two are DUPLICATES: 313114/DWWC-502880
    is sample-only (un-buyable), ZOW0146-01/DWZF-187242 is the complete product (Sold Per Roll $416.29, collection
    norm). 313114 never needed pricing — retire the orphan. Folded into the consolidated DUPES card. The DM
    (M-01413/M-01435) is moot.

- **41 verification-grade reprices ready to ship** (gated `!`-run, restore-map-first, reversible).
- **6 rows held** with a clear, cheap next step each (3 below-list re-price, Highclere harvest, ZAQF
  per-yard check, 313114 mapping confirm) + the per-metre murals pending unit modeling.

## ADDENDUM 2026-08-31 — re-verification of the 3 held Darnley rows (3 parallel web-researchers, $0)

Harvested current US LIST for the 3 held Darnley-collection roll rows to advance them to
ready-to-fire drafts. The harvest instead RECONCILED against what v5 already shipped and
surfaced one live error. VERIFY-BEFORE-ACTING: every finding reproduced from our own
`zoffany_catalog` width×roll_length + a direct Shopify variant read, not just the scrape.

1. **Mitford Damask ZDAR312864 (DWZF-187022) — CONFIRMED CORRECT at live $416.**
   Standard roll (catalog 68.6 cm × 10.05 m). Three US sources concordant: Zoffany US
   official $416 + DecoratorsBest $416 (same pattern/tier); Morris/Lionheart $449 MSRP /
   $374 sale; studio198 $230 rejected as a ~45%-below outlier. The v5 ship was right.
   Post-hoc verification PASSED — no action.

2. **Darnley "Tigers Eye" ZDAR312884 (DWZF-187020) — 🚨 LIVE UNIT-MISLABEL @ $416.**
   This is NOT a standard roll: catalog spec **137 cm × 1 m** (vs 68.6 cm × 10.05 m for every
   other Darnley pattern), `price_retail` £176 (vs £148), the sibling "Pina De Indes Tigers
   Eye" ZOW0131-04 is 137 cm × 0.91 m *Commercial Wallcovering*, and Zoffany's own US site
   sells Darnley Tigers Eye **by the metre at $494/yd**. Four independent signals agree it is a
   sold-by-the-metre wide-width good. v5 assigned it $416 by **false analogy to Mitford**
   (same collection) — the evidence-laundering-across-collection trap. Belongs in the PER-METRE
   workstream with the 5 murals, NOT the standard-roll set.
   → **GATED correction drafted** to pending-approval (reclassify + per-metre model). Not a
   simple revert — the pre-v5 price was clobbered by the idempotent v5 double-run AND was
   itself likely wrong. Overpricing (not a loss) → no financial emergency; safe to hold live
   pending Steve's call. Blast radius 1, reversible.

3. **Highclere Paris Grey ZDAR312861 — STAYS HELD, note upgraded.**
   Standard roll (68.6 cm × 10.05 m). Pattern lists **$382–$416** across two US retailers
   (Wallpaper Direct US: Zinc $382 / Olivine $416; LA Design Concepts: Olivine $416). Our
   catalog prices all Highclere colorways uniformly (£148), but the US-retailer level shows a
   ~9% intra-pattern spread, and Paris Grey specifically was never directly pinned. Not
   verification-grade for the exact SKU → HELD. Next step is now tight: pull a Paris-Grey-
   specific US receipt, OR ship conservatively at the lower verified $382.

## ADDENDUM 2026-08-31 (2) — the mislabel GENERALIZED: 74 wide-width products + held-list correction

Sweeping the whole catalog (wide-width >100 cm + short-length <7 m, joined to what the v3/v4/v5 restore
maps actually repriced) found **74 wide-width products live at flat roll prices** — the Tigers Eye case
was a class, not a one-off. **Root cause: a duplicate ZOW-vs-Z-code SKU structure** — the murals we
recorded as HELD under their `Z<coll>NNNNNN` codes were repriced under their `ZOW0xxx` cross-ref codes,
so the hold was silently circumvented.

**CORRECTION to §3 above:** Verdure (ZOW0007), Phaedra (ZOW0041), Pompadour (ZOW0123) are NOT actually
held — they are **live+published** at $497.74 / $447.06 / $533.94 under their ZOW codes. The earlier
"held" statement described intent under the Z-codes; actual live state diverged. Any future hold/reprice
must reconcile BOTH code spaces.

**Verified outcome (Steve: "verify-first"):** Zoffany wide-width goods are sold **by the metre** (except
the 3M-Stocked fixed panels). So the 74 are NOT gross misprices — the per-metre dollar amounts are mostly
in Zoffany's $400–590/m band. Buckets + surgical plan: `zoffany_widewidth_VERIFIED.md`. Fix = labeling
clarity (71 per-metre) + dupe resolution (Tigers Eye) + dim backfill (22 length=0m), NOT a mass revert.


## ADDENDUM 2026-08-31 (3) — Highclere Paris Grey RESOLVED
ZDAR312861 = standard roll (68.6cm x 10.05m) LIVE at $148 = the raw £148-as-USD (held out of the 277 GBP-fix, never corrected). Pattern verified $382-416 US (2 retailers). Gated reprice card drafted at conservative $382 (lower-bound; could be $416 collection norm): RUN via zoffany_roll_ZDAR312861_highclere.json. This closes the LAST documented held item — every TK-10873 held row is now resolved-and-gated or externally-blocked (313114 only).
