# New page specs — keyword landers + Cy Pres + Calculators + Book a Call
Companion to:
- `research/keyword-landers.md` (20 candidate landers, 4 tiers)
- `research/grantee-seo-comparison.md` (peer revenue + SEO patterns)
- `research/audience-demographics.md` (granters + 45+ borrower cohorts)

## 1. Cy Pres Award page — `/cy-pres`
**Why it matters:** Residual class-action settlement funds get directed to a 501(c)(3) whose mission aligns with the underlying suit. NCLC has an active program and treats it as a revenue line. SDCC has zero such page → zero pipeline. Estimated unlocked annual revenue: **$25K–$250K** depending on attorney outreach effort.
**H1:** Cy Pres awards — fund borrower advocacy from class-action settlement residuals
**Meta description:** Direct unclaimed class-action funds to a 501(c)(3) purpose-built to advocate for the same student-loan borrowers harmed in the underlying case.
**Audience:** Class-action attorneys, foundation program officers, judges' chambers
**URL:** `/cy-pres` (canonical) · 301 redirects from `/cypres`, `/class-action`
**Sections:**
1. Hero — one sentence on what cy pres is + "we are eligible" badge
2. Why SDCC qualifies — 10 years, 4.7M signatures, 82K stories, beneficiary alignment with student-loan classes
3. Recent eligible matters — Navient, ITT/Corinthian/Westwood Borrower Defense, state AG servicer settlements
4. Use of funds — 100% directed to borrower hotline, free guides, public-interest litigation support
5. Counsel & process packet — 990, IRS determination, audited financials, beneficiary-alignment memo, draft order language
6. Email — `cypres@studentdebtcrisis.org` (set up dedicated inbox)
7. Past awards (start with placeholder; populate as awards land)
**Internal links:** About, Annual report, 990 PDF
**External links:** ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer profile, Candid profile
---
## 2. Calculators page — `/calculators`
**Why it matters:** Free calculators with no email gate are how Tate Esq drives 69 Google reviews and inbound consults. SDCC has 2M supporters and zero calculators. Free calculators rank for transactional, high-commercial-intent queries that nonprofit education content cannot.
**Eight calculators (per the screenshot reference):**
| # | Name | Purpose | Inputs (high-level) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | TXT loan-listing tool | Paste StudentAid.gov export → clean inventory | text dump |
| 02 | PSLF Calculator | Months to forgiveness given plan, income, family size | 10 fields per the Tate-style schema |
| 03 | Parent PLUS Calculator | Double-consolidation savings, ICR-only access | balance, interest, retirement timeline |
| 04 | SAVE Plan Calculator | Old SAVE payment vs. new IDR options post-block | balance, AGI, family size |
| 05 | ICR Plan Calculator | Parent PLUS borrower's only IDR door | balance, AGI, family size |
| 06 | IBR Plan Calculator | Old IBR vs new IBR — eligibility & math | balance, AGI, family size, loan year |
| 07 | PAYE Plan Calculator | Eligibility test + 20-year forgiveness path | balance, first-loan date, AGI, family size |
| 08 | Partial Financial Hardship Calc | Whether you qualify in 2026 | AGI, family size, balance, plan |
**JSON schema for PSLF (canonical for all calculators):**
See live page in showcase: `/showcase/index.html` → page selector → "PSLF JSON Inspector". Mirrors tateesq.com/calculator/pslf input shape so we can interop / validate against an established model.
```jsonc
{
"loanBalance": { "type":"number", "units":"USD", "required":true },
"avgInterestRate": { "type":"number", "units":"percent", "required":true },
"monthlyPayment": { "type":"number", "units":"USD", "required":true },
"state": { "type":"string", "enum":"US state", "required":true },
"taxFilingStatus": { "type":"string", "enum":["Single","Head of Household","Qualified Widow(er)","Married Filing Jointly","Married Filing Separately"] },
"familySize": { "type":"number", "units":"count" },
"annualIncome": { "type":"number", "units":"USD" },
"avgAnnualGrowth": { "type":"number", "units":"percent" },
"yearsInPublicService":{ "type":"number", "units":"years" },
"qualifyingPayments": { "type":"number", "units":"count" }
}
```
**Outputs:** monthly payment by plan (IBR, PAYE, ICR, Standard; SAVE flagged as blocked), total repayment before forgiveness, total forgiven, remaining qualifying payments, months to forgiveness, ETA YYYY-MM, disclaimer.
**Build notes:** plain client-side JS, no backend. No email gate. Print-friendly. Canonical results-URL so users can share. Dated as "Reviewed [last review month]" so granters see freshness.

## 3. Book a Call page — `/book-a-call`
**Why it matters:** Mirrors tateesq.com/contact pattern. For the 45+ cohort, video + phone + scheduled call converts >5x better than a "contact form." Also serves as a major-donor cultivation channel (an SDCC borrower advocate on a free call with a foundation PO is the highest-quality top-of-funnel signal that exists).
**H1:** Student-loan companies don't help. We do.
**Sections:**
1. Hero — H1, sub-headline ("Book a free 20-minute call with an SDCC borrower advocate"), embedded video (2-min explainer of what SDCC does), phone number, "Book my free call" Calendly button
2. What we're good at — 6 numbered cards (SAVE/IDR triage, PSLF appeals, Default & garnishment, Parent PLUS strategy, Borrower Defense, Disability/TPD) — same numbered visual pattern as the Tate Esq theme
3. What borrowers say — 3 short quotes from real submissions (Robyn / Eugenia / Megan), pulled from Stories database
4. Trust strip — Candid Platinum seal, GuideStar verified, 501(c)(3), "Not a law firm" disclaimer
5. CTA repeated — Calendly + phone + email
**Embedded video brief (2 min):**
- 0:00 — Hook: "If you got a default, garnishment, or PSLF denial letter this year — this is for you."
- 0:15 — Who SDCC is in one sentence ("We're a 501(c)(3) borrower-advocacy nonprofit. We don't sell anything.")
- 0:30 — What we do (3 bullets shown on screen)
- 0:50 — Three quick borrower outcomes (5 sec each)
- 1:35 — How to book (show the page in the background)
- 1:50 — Tag: "Free. No upsell. Just help."
