# Terminal status

Shared status for Claude, Codex, and the ticket desktop bar. Ticket: TK-11317.

The implementation keeps semantic status separate from terminal titles. It uses
one canonical record per tty, bound to the live main agent PID, runtime, and
process start time. Legacy dot files are compatibility mirrors. The scanner
does not let an overwritten or stale window title replace a valid record.

No service, timer, or model call is needed to read or write status.
