+# Damask-building loop — 2026-06-04 (DTD verdict A: STAGE-ONLY)
+
+ScheduleWakeup-driven (~1800s ticks). DTD-decided operating policy = **A STAGE-ONLY**
+(Claude+Codex 2/2; qwen [ERR]). Customer-facing publish/deploy is NEVER autonomous —
+the loop stages keepers locally and notifies; **Steve publishes approved batches**.
+
+## Per-tick procedure
+1. **Harvest** the previous tick's generation batch (if any finished): for each
+   created (read-back-verified) row — visual-curate (genuine heritage damask vs
+   abstract/web/border/swirl miss) + post-gen settlement vision. Genuine keepers
+   stay `is_published=FALSE` (STAGED), category='damask'. Misses → `user_removed=TRUE`.
+2. **Build a review montage** of newly-staged keepers → /tmp + note ids.
+3. **Launch next batch** in background on free Mac2 ComfyUI (flowing-scroll formula,
+   `data/damask-line-prompts.txt`, --category damask). Read-back fix = truthful count.
+4. **Log** tick to CNCP (project=damask-loop) + this ledger.
+5. **ScheduleWakeup ~1800s** with `<<autonomous-loop-dynamic>>` unless stopped/capped.
+
+## Hard constraints
+- **NO deploy / publish / rsync-to-prod / prod-DB write.** Stage-only. Reversible-local.
+- No metered spend (ComfyUI local = free). No re-roll of kept art (round-1 sacred).
+- Settlement gate already OK for the damask concept; post-gen vision per keeper.
+- **CAP:** stop launching new batches once **staged keepers ≥ 15** (or 8 ticks),
+  then NOTIFY Steve to review/publish — don't pile up unbounded staged content.
+- Stop flag: `~/.damask-loop-stop` (touch to halt; wakeup reads it and ends).
+
